Speak to your solicitor or a will-writing service and include “Children in Need Fund, Registered Charity No. 287866” as a beneficiary. Gifts to charity are usually free of Inheritance Tax.
Can I give in memory of someone?
Yes. You can make a donation in memory of a loved one or set up a memory giving page. Please email info@childreninneed.org.uk and we will be glad to help.

Campaign impact
Bushcraft Breakthrough 2026
After two weeks in Anglesey, 160 young people came home — tired, happy and full of stories. They took on climbing, kayaking, boating, bushcraft, hiking and team challenges, many for the very first time. Thanks to supporters like you, here is the difference it made.
“I was nervous about the climbing at first, but when I got to the top I felt really proud of myself.”
A young person
“I didn’t want to come on the first day. My mum made me. Now I don’t want to go home.”
A young person
“I got the hang of it!” — said one young person after finally scoring in the net on his seventeenth try.
A young person
Thank you for making Bushcraft Breakthrough 2026 possible — and for giving 160 young people the chance to get away, make friends, learn new skills and challenge themselves. With thanks from the young people, parents, staff, volunteers and trustees of Youth Space.
